Whether you are a pastor, associate minister, youth leader, or simply seeking deeper biblical knowledge, our comprehensive education and training programs will prepare you to live and lead with confidence and godly influence.
Ministry Pathway Degree Programs
- Bachelor’s and Associate’s Degrees in Biblical Studies
Dive deep into biblical and theological knowledge while gaining practical ministry skills. Our degree programs offer a variety of concentrations, including Biblical Counseling, Bible Exposition, Digital Ministry, Church Leadership, and Women’s Leadership. Each program is designed to address the need for formal training and to equip you for effective service in various church roles.
- Professional Development (PD) Certificates
Enhance your ministry skills and knowledge with our targeted PD certificates. These programs provide specialized training to help you excel in your current role or prepare for new ministry opportunities.
Ministry Pathway Certificate Programs
- Bible Exposition
Combines former Premier Expository Preaching and Expository Teaching Programs. This program emphasizes course work in professional development education in the area of preaching or teaching the Word of God through sound exposition. Focus is given to areas of study for men and women called communicate scripture who are interested in getting deeper into biblically based understanding and approach to biblical communication and to sharpen their ministry skills, but who do not necessarily desire to obtain a diploma or degree.
- Bible Counseling
Certificate program which emphasize course work in professional development education in the area of spiritual counseling from a biblical and theological worldview. Focus is given to areas of study of counseling theory and techniques as well as marriage and family counseling methodologies. Courses are taught at a post-secondary level.
- Digital Ministry
The learning outcomes for this program includes the ability to: 1) articulate a biblical premise and theological framework for technology within the church and its usefulness in advancing the cause of Christ 2) devise strategies to utilize digital platforms for various ministry initiatives of the local church or para-church group, 3) competently use various digital tools, applications, and software in the various areas of ministry, and 4) be equipped for advancing to further studies in digital ministry.
- Women’s Leadership
The Women’s Leadership program exists to equip women to confidently serve in various contemporary contexts, from the church to the marketplace, grounded in a biblically centered and theologically sound worldview.
- Pastoral Leadership
Learn to apply ministry leadership education for achieving effective pastoral leadership. Resolve and apply relationship and conflict management solutions. Advance students to further studies in ministry leadership.

That's why we've designed an Academic Marketplace Pathway to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed for successful careers and further education pursuits in secular spaces, all while remaining rooted in your faith.
Marketplace Pathway Degree Programs
- Associate of Arts (AA) in General Studies
Kickstart your journey with our two-year undergraduate program. Our AA degree provides you with foundational knowledge and introductory skills, setting you up for upper-level studies or entry-level careers. You can also choose to specialize with a minor in Health Science, and we are excited to announce upcoming minors in Early Childhood Education and Digital Studies.
- Seamless Transition into Specialized Health Sciences
We are proud to have an exciting partnership with Parker University in Dallas, TX. This articulation agreement ensures automatic admission acceptance for SBIC’s AA students who meet the qualifications to continue their education at that university. You can pursue an Associate of Applied Science or a Baccalaureate degree in Health Sciences at Parker University, further enhancing your career prospects.
